I wonder how many unlikely gardens exist in Birmingham?
By that I mean gardens of any size that may be on balconies of flats, small gardens, back yards. Gardens of properties that are right in the heart of Birmingham even. Gardens of any size at all.
Surely there must be something. It would be a great programme. There never seems to be many historical programmes about Birmingham.
Peaky Blinders was a real treat, it raised interest in Birmingham history.
I like this presenter. He's very professional and impartial. I think I've watched all of 'a house through time', be great if he concentrated in a Birmingham property.
The bourganvillia is full of flowers now! I find that even in the warmer weather, if I put them in my south facing window ledge for a week, this encourages flowers.
Lady P, that's so annoying when the weather causes destruction. A few years ago we had a hail storm, it pur gigantic holes in my hydrangea, I never got it right again.
Oh Lady P, so sorry, just re-read your post. I thought you meant you'd cut the best of the roses before the storm. Oh no, I hope there's not too much damage, that's so annoying. Sorry I misunderstood x
Just started to rain here. Cooler day today. Just some dead heading and watering for me today in the garden.
My honeysuckle has lots of flowers, I put two different colours in one pot and they are growing over a cane frame.
