    Aston Villa fans at the Wetherspoons pub in New Street Station yesterday, having a swift one prior to traveling to Liverpool for last night's win against Everton. The most well known of them had a cider and bought the round. :)

    Yet again, twice in the same day at exactly the same spot and three times in a week! (see BBC News link below) Are these lorry drivers all following their satnavs, without having any regard to the height of their vehicle and the approaching bridge? Surely word is getting around amongst haulage...

    Erdington

    Whoops it's happened again! A lorry collided on Summer Road in Erdington, before 11am on Friday (Jan 3). The road was shut in both directions by police while emergency teams worked to remove the lorry. Train services from New Street Station to Lichfield Station were disrupted by the incident:

    He gained a sale the day that my grandmother took me to Lewis's (I remember it well;)). I never got the hang of it myself, although my Dad tried to show me how it should be done (he must have been quite a talent back in the 30s!). :)

    Didn't he use that land to run his bikes? I'm sure I heard them, but I never ventured in, which now seems a very good decision.
