Speculation only. On the 1950 ER there is an Arthur Terry listed at 12 Loxton St with wife Elsie (nee Hassall) and in laws. They married in 1947 and he was listed as Arthur J Terry. Elsie was b1925 so a similar age.

His listed at that address on findmypast, with an Alfred & Ellen Smith which is not much help.

He may have been in the Welsh Fusiliers and died in WWI 16 Sep 1916, buried Belgium. I think his service records may have survived.

Yes, that's correct. Handsworth came under West Brom until 1930.

See my post #213 above for their marriage details. No birth reg. but Sarah Ann was baptised West Brom 6 Sep 1840, born 15 Jun.

The 1841 census has to be treated with caution. There is not enough information to infer relationships between people in the same household in some cases. Birthplaces for people born in England were only listed as born in the county they were living in or not, so the 1841 would not show a...

    Beauvoisin

An unusual name though it seems not as uncommon as I thought it would be. Earliest sighting in Yorkshire?

Edward Wainwright was born 1813ish, I think Dordon rather than Atherstone. Hannah Davis was born 1821ish in Wilnecote, They married 22 Jul 1839 Handsworth. Edward's father was Charles and Hannah's parents were William Davis and possibly Ann Martin (married Tamworth 16 Oct 1820).

    Whalton or Wall

Doesn't help much but could it be Walton rather than Whalton?

Unfortunately as has been discussed previously it seems unlikely that you can go any further than what you already know. Your Wainwright side seems easier, from the Dordon/Polesworth/Baddesley Ensor area.

    Witton Cemetery Burial Plot

There are maps of the plots but not I don't think there's one that shows graves. There is a plot map on post #2 of this thread... https://birminghamhistory.co.uk/forum/threads/witton-cemetery-sections1-and-5.52863/ ...assuming N47 is shown as just 47 it is towards the op in the centre...

    Murphy Family

Not much in the op appears to be correct but that's the fun of genealogy. Owen appears to have been born in Bham (possibly Windsor St), father in Coventry and mother in Bham. So might have to go back to his grandfather to find the Irish roots. Annie Louisa Gough appears to have been from...
