Hi there, my grandfather gave his occupation on his marriage certificate in 1916 as a dental mechanic. Does anybody knows where he was trained. He came from the Aston area.

I am looking for old photo's of Coventry Road c1900-1920, Yardley, Particularly a dentist or dental school? Somebody helped me out with Aston a while back now.
My ancestors lived at around 201, Lichfield rd, however, it was great to see what the place as a whole looked like - because that was around the time they lived there.
Thank you so much for the link. I saw some photo's which I guessing were post war and into the sixties. When I visited that neck of the woods about 10 years ago, it looked completely different to the photo's.
Thank you for getting back to me. I noticed your photo had a steam train on it, I recently took my mum for a birthday treat on the Severn Railway for lunch, it was a nice few hours.
