Hi Sue I can't recall a Palmer family. Unfortunately Most of our original neighbours have now left the road or passed away. Will put my thinking cap on and see if I can recall the family. x
No not just Xmas tins but tins throughout my life. Some are very rusty no matter what I had done to preserve them and are no longer in the house but store Pete's nails screws etc.
Had one bought for me for my birthday and it is a bit hit and miss as to what it picks up. Patience is what you require with these. Had a couple of large rats as well as a fox and loads of birds. Good luck.
The same thing happened when Pete was fishing a contest and further up two lads decided to swim across the river. On their way back one got into serious difficulty and I ended up going in for him. Good job I had been well trained at that time.
We once had a caravan at Stourport when out twins were ten and we all loved it. Bumped into Amy Turtle off Crossroads once as she had a van on another site there. Pete used to do night fishing there and I would take him his breakfast sandwiches and a fresh flask of coffee. Happy days.
