Hi Mike Well I would like to see as much as possible, but if it's too large then just the Abbey Street part. Where can I buy a map because I would like to see as much as possible so I can really understand the area.

    Warstone Lane Cemetery

Hi KHB Thanks for the link. So, what would the chances be of a meet up with you in the summer to locate the graves. I would appreciate your expertise in the matter. It's a shame if I'm thinking the graves are located somewhere that's incorrect.

    Warstone Lane Cemetery

I have 8 family members, Strawbridge, buried in Warstone Lane Cemetery. I have found one grave, Prudence Strawbridge (1818-1892) no headstone or marker but it's near to Harry Gem's grave. Prudence was my Great Great Great grandmother. I want to go back in the summer and try to locate them all.

    Abbey Street Hockley

Mikejee, if Berwood Eng was at 28 Abbey St, the Strawbridge Blacksmith was at 20 Abbey Street, what a shame the pic doesn't show the Blacksmith's. I live in hope. But it's fab to have pics of the Street. The streets look so interesting back then.

Yes, you have got something there, also probably not enough room. I'm going by memory though, I'm hoping to get the pic next week.

    Abbey Street Hockley

Hi, is it possible to get a map of Abbey St, Lodge Rd and as much surrounding area as you can. I have met a family member in the past 4 weeks and he has kindly given me some info. But I need a map and I can't get one on Google.

    Prince Of Wales Cambridge Street

Wow, Viv, thanks for the pic. The cup on the left is just like the one we have that Arthur Strawbridge won. Thanks Lyn, I'm sure it was for shooting, no date on the cup and it says POW. As Arthur lived in Sheepcote Street my family are sure it is The Prince of Wales in Cambridge Street.

    Prince Of Wales Cambridge Street

Lyn, I'm so glad someone else finds this amazing. You have restored my sanity. We have the cup, I didn't know until after Christmas last year that a cup existed. My cousin showed It to me, apparently his Mom took care of it up until he had it. Imagine how thrilled I was when the only building...
