    Abbey Street Hockley

Just had a detailed read Dave, very interesting. Great to read about how life was in Birmingham, but I feel very privileged to be reading how life was in a street where my relations lived by people that lived there, so thank you and your Brother for providing me with the information.

Tram Route 31, Dudley Road And Heath Street Info Any Pics?

Hi all If there's any info on the above or pics I would love to know. What was the route of the tram and where was the terminus? I'm looking for pics as at 139 Dudley Road my relations had a general store until 1917 appx, and the tram mentioned in the title went past the premises.

Lee Bridge Tavern, Dudley Rd, Any Pics, Info Please?

Thanks to all looking for pics, yes, I thought that the 139 premises was just out of shot, as the numbers will be odd on that side of the road. What would the road be called opposite Heath Street, perhaps a shot taken from that road may show the 139 premises.

Lee Bridge Tavern, Dudley Rd, Any Pics, Info Please?

Hi all I would like to know if anyone has info or pics of The Lee Bridge Tavern? Had it always been the Lee Bridge Tavern? Horace Strawbridge (died, KIA 1917) had a general store opposite the pub. He must have used the pub so I would love to find out anything I can.
