    Stratford Road Schools

    My husband went to Stratford Rd school in the 1930's, next to St Agnes church, the entrance used to be on Stratford Rd but was later moved away from the main road because of traffic, It is now Ladypool School and was hit by the tornado. My husband lived in Beechfield Rd at the side of the school.

    Thanks Phil, my how the old place has changed, but at least it is still standing and has not met the fate of a lot of the old pubs of being flattened. It is many years since I have been in the Stratford Rd area but from what I have seen in news reports it is very different from how it was.:)
