I might have nailed the location - this very similar postcard from the Midland Railway site is labelled 1918 and would pinpoint the location as Saltley Shed:-

Boo-hoo-hoo alert - someone has erected not one, but TWO heavy duty locked gates on the High St entrance path which will now make getting to the station nigh on impossible. :sob: :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob: Good job I got my photos when I did.....
