I was comparing these to the close up photos I took in the summer (which are posted on another thread). Looks like they literally "locked the gate and left".......

Found these on the Bristol Museums Collections Website (well worth a look by the way!!) They are all of the various Port of Bristol Authority stands at various BIF's in Castle Bromwich in the 1930's and 1940's - lots of interest on theirs and the surrounding stalls. Some nice models too! 1932:-...

Found in the middle of 2 boxes of slides I am scanning for a relative:- I am guessing this dates from the late 1960s and was Sugar Puffs equivalent of a sweet cigarette card? Great so long as you owned a slide projector (go straight to Dixons and buy one if you did not......)
