Help needed tracing Small Heath burials

Hi Uncle Albert, In my experience with the Monumental Inscriptions Lists they are fairly accurate. However, as mentioned names can be missed off the lists and other people can be buried in the graves in the cemeteries but not always recorded. I think you would need more proof as to where Henry...

They Were Caught In Our Old Street Pics...

It is indeed a lovely shot. I love the little girl's outfit. I used to attend St. Margaret's Church when it was in Somerset Road and also had some friends in Enstone Road further up where the Pavilion Cinema used to be. That photo on Google must have been taken early in the morning or after...

Like Old Mohawk I think the picture is before 1939. King Edward's Grammar School was starting to move out in 1936 and was subsequently demolished.

    Moseley Road Baths

Re: Moseley Road Baths, August 2009 Hi Lyn: This is shocking after promises. Can't believe anyone in gov. these days. Erdington Leisure Centre is going plus seven others. In the case of Erdington there will be nowhere for the kids to learn to swim unless they go to Wyndley Leisure Centre in...

    JFK Kennedy Memorial Mosaic

It was the third month of my Canadian adventure. I was on my lunch hour at work when the news came through. It was hard to believe. The American news stations were totally alive with the awful news. I lived in the YWCA in Peterborough,Ontario at the time and a couple of the girls who lived...
