    Tino, It is about sixty five years ago! Apart from your dad and uncle I can name seven, Sam Dear, Tom Clutterbuck, John Gill, Bill Butcher, Bob Plant, Jim Wilkes and Ken Spensley. I'll email a couple of the others to see if they can name the other four!

    1st and 3rd were both early '60's. The cricket one was at the Solihull Rover ground. The ladies hockey one in Olton. I wonder if The Solihull News is a link. The News always gave good publicity to amateur sports.

    A lot of chatter on internet that we shouldn't allow buddleia in our gardens as it is as bad as Japanese Knot Weed for being invasive and a risk to buildings, never had any problems. Any comments?

    Sad to read that the Girl's Grounds are no more, my wife had her leaving do in there when she left Cadbury's. Must have been 1973. Club house was licenced at that time.
