This weekend I will migrating the server to a more efficient Ryzen build so there will be a brief downtime when I swap out the drives and power down the current server

It's a massive upgrade to the software

ill check it out - seems fine to me from what I can tell, however at some point I'm going to upgrade it and migrate it over to ryzen I have a spare board and CPU which is faster than the current one by some margin

Apologies for the down time lately, the router has been giving up the ghost so I needed to replace it. This has now been replaced and configured so all "should" be good now!!

Hi there will be approximately 30min downtime today while I apply software updates.

Just rebuilding the search function so it may not work that well until it has completed.

Other than just as I was upgrading the software, how has the site been since the network upgrade?

server going down at 18:30 for an hour, all the networks have now been upgraded and a new power socket installed. now for the physical move

Everywhere is slow sadly too much traffic on the networks atm :( I will reboot though just in case

in answer to all those questions. Yes obviously, including dual redundant backups onsite and off. you don't ned to worry about these things I do :) to alleviate your fears though im very safe for instance this is my daily transport ;)

sadly I only had ECC memory and the server didn't like it :( long shot if anyone has any 4GB or bigger DDR3 modules sitting around doing nothing and would like to donate them give me a shout :)

2019 requires a touch more memory luckily I have a box full of it. At some point today im going to upgrade the memory wont take long max 30 minutes
