    Yes I remember the crane, I used the road a longside the railway has my Bantem test route also the bridge over the canal on to the tip. I did my Trainspotting down there at break time oh the 9.00 ex Snow Hill to Padd always a King, Happy Days. Lou.

    Excelsior / Flights did get in to trouble and the London and other stage services where taken over by N / Express with some of there coaches which have a Reg number XEL. Maltland kept the holiday side which is still operating.

    Hi, Yes I remember talking about the shelter and how people did not like crossing the bridges, the canal was also at a higher level and a bomb in there would have flooded them !!. Try clicking on the title bar and it should open where it says sign in. Rgds Lou.
