Has some one who lived in Hall Green for many years it is sad to see the state of the track. Is the train working wrong line ? Stratford Road bridge seems to be in the background.

The attached pictures show the last train on this line 27 / 01/ 1961. The line was closed so that Lly Celyn could be extended, the road ( A 4212 ) was rebuilt at a higher level. The train started from Snow Hill and went via Llangollen. This train featured on BBC Railway Roundabout 1961...

Sorrento was owned by the Adam's family. My mother was related to there coach man and housekeeper Mr Arthur and Mrs Burton. She told me that she spent many days there. We had some large pictures on the wall in Avon Street Sparkhill of the stables but which was lost during the bombing.
