Quite a complicated street to work out locations.
Victoria Terrace stretches all the way through to Osler Street.
The house numbers appear to jump from 4 to 34.
Struggling to find references to Waterworks Lane perhaps a typo and should be Waterworks Road. Kelly's do not list an RAF Stores but I suspect this would be unlikely during a period of war.
Yes, I got it wrong Janice, I was starting at the wrong end of the road. It looks like the house is still there as you say, I have circled it on the 1948 image.
This is a useful reference for all of the gas works in Birmingham.
The one located in Adderley Street was only 1.2 miles from Larches Street but it appears that it closed in 1940.
It would seem most likely to be Windsor Street or Saltley gas works which were operational until 1974, Windsor...
I was attempting to identify the location of the bombed-out houses but could find no reference on the BARRA website. There is a top quality aerial image on the Britain from above website which makes it possible to identify the location.
