    Cadbury's Bournville Factory

It was fascinating to watch these tugs wending their way around the factory. I saw them on a visit with Hartfield Crescent School in 1968.

    Cadbury's Bournville Factory

I have to agree with you Lyn. I attended four Birmingham schools and always enjoyed the dinners. One exception was worm (spaghetti) bolonese. Hated that. I particularly enjoyed the bread rolls that were served with summer salads at Farm Street School. NoddKD

    Do you recognise this place?

Hi Lyn , I have only seen one photograph of the hall but for the life of me I can't remember where. I note from one of the photos you placed that the perimeter is a hedge row in the initial picture there appears to be a metal fence. I'm sure the BHF members will come up trumps, again. NoddKD

    Villa Cross Cinema

I recall being taken to this cinema by my Dad,with my brother to see The Longest Day. There were a couple of Royal Marines at the entrance. Little did I realise that I would spend 23 years serving with The Corps later in my life. NoddKD,proud former Royal Marine.
