    Sounds like you lived in Nursery Rd. The left turn would have been into Hunters Road. There was a bridge there;with a clock if I remember correctly. I believe the bus depot was in Heaton Street. NoddKD

    My sympathy Lyn. Suffer the same myself. Tried everything, no drinking,no tea,coffee, bed early or late. Even tried natural sleeping aids such as Nytol all to no avail. As you say we have to soldier on.;) Nodd the sleepy.

    Somewhat confused by this post. St George's School was on the corner of Plough and Harrow Road and Beaufort Rd in Edgbaston. A long way from Burberry St and Wheeler St,Hockley.     The Repair Shop. Their skill and knowledge is awesome. They are also genuinely interested in the history of the object and the people that bring them in. Oddly, when people are reunited with their beautifully repaired item I find I have something in my eye! No idea why. ;)

    This pub,Sippers Inn,on Millbay Rd,Pymouth,was built late 70'searly 80's. The bricks were from the slum demolitions of Aston, Birmingham. The place has since been rendered and the brickwork is no longer visible.It is has also been renamed and is now the Salumi bar and Eatery.
