Like you Lyn I have searched extensive records and can find no record of her marriage to anyone. There is a tree on ancestry with no marriage dates but gives her birthdate and 12th Aug 1907 John Ronald James 1927 Frederick smith 1928 and their father Joseph Moses ????? then spouse Leslie...

I would imagine he was living in Sutton Coldfield, he was married in Sutton in 1942 and his son Peter was born there in 1950, in 1952 his wife and son went to join him in USA they travelled on the Queen Elizabeth. His parents Eric and Clarice lived in Royal road, Sutton Coldfield.
