And the picture is taken on the roof. Possibly unique among schools to have a flat roof. It was also used to host disagreements between students where you would put "the gloves on"

The Alders lived at #59. It states in the original post that Louisa Alder was living at #58 and died in 1949. Either the numbers are wrong because #58 was bombed out during the war, it became our peck. Maybe she moved somewhere else.

Just found this photo. I believe this is Paddington St. You can see Bellingers shop behind her. There was an Alder family that lived next door to the shop.
