    It's still not "glamorous"....I never took much interest in US steam, thought they were ugly boilers on wheels. However, visiting Altoona changed that. There were some pretty decent looking locomotives built there. Dave A

    I don't think that would have been the same situation in the UK, Mike. You got off to a great start with vaccine roll out, we are about 3 months behind you because of procurement issues, and....as it turns out, distribution issues. Dave A

    Good music to listen to on U Tube

    Been following this band for more than 5 years now...3 brothers and a drummer. Sound a lot like Led Zeppelin, which is fine by me. They are using a Hammond Organ a lot these days, which is also alright by me. It's good to hear youngsters playing classic rock in this day of not so classic music...

    I'd be curious to know just how many houses there were on Furnace Lane. I'm referring to houses with an actual Furnace Lane address. If my memory serves...and it's not what it used to be, I don't recall any houses on the first section of Furnace Lane, just the back yards of Porchester St. Dave A
