    The intro music to "music while you work", used to be on the radio every Sunday morning, when I was a child, in the 1940's and early 50's, just before the Billy Cotton band show, and I remember it so well, with mom in the kitchen preparing Sunday dinner, and I would go out with dad to cannon...

    OMG, walked many times up and down Hagley Road, in 50's and 60's, it certainly has changed, and not for the better in my opinion, I seem to remember it as a very middle class area!!!!

    I do remember this old Ansells pub, from the early 60's it was off King Edwards Road, I believe but can't be sure now, does it still exist?, I thought the whole of that area was demolished in the mid 60's!!
