Right im told the Cab we connect to has lost external power and we are on battery backup hence the drop outs, this is with open reach to sort out and goes beyond the suppliers. Apparently this was due to someone crashing into it and not vandalism

Since some are getting logged out and I have a few times, I have switched the site back to HTTP you may need to clear you cache to do this please google how to clear your browser cache for instructions. there is little benefit in https for a site like this

The new hardware with ddos protection in it arrives today so the site will be down for about 30 minutes while I implement it.

I've had to reset the router everyday this week

It may be due to all the attacks but it may be down to the server router I think it may need replacing it's not really coping.

At some point over the weekend I will be installing a new hardware firewall to protect the site this is due to all the recent issues around the world this is just another step I can take to keep the site safe.
