Yes, by both morons and sadists! Must be the qualifications required on both sides of the pond. We lived in a town in a sunny climate if you used the parking meter to get a parking ticket before dusk you could not read the screen to see what you were doing. And then more often than not if you...
And there in lies the problem! There are all of those committee’s, all of those pay points, yes common sense has disappeared! And why the county boundaries keep shifting amazes me! It must be for political reengineering, certainly not for the benefit of the populace!
A lot of stuff there! But most importantly the admission that there has been and is still a problem. Mr Wild is a project manager, I hope he stays. Sir Jon Thompson his predecessor is a counter not a manager.

Taunton Mass is/was an area known for the development of textile equipment. Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island etc, known as New England were the centers of textile and weaving equipment including gun and ammunition production and development.

Best of luck with your next book, you know where history is kept!
An interesting walk down Memory Lane with Big Bear Ffolly! While I am not a Black Sabbath or Heavy Metal fan [sacrilege], fortunately for them they made the right decision!
Do remember the hotel and of course the Odeon…The only good part of that loft extension is that I was usually walking to the Odeon and never looked up that high. Think the last time I was there was when I was 18/19 and was accompanying a young lady to the Odeon and was otherwise preoccupied .
