    Christmas greetings 2021

Unfortunately Lyn, this area of Florida reminds me of 1998 when we rented a house for 8 people, all of them Brummies except for my Canadian wife. 4 of the Brummies are no longer with us. It's a sad reminder of life and the precious times had. Dave A

    JFK Kennedy Memorial Mosaic

And the fact that the JFK assassination secret document files are still not being released, when they have been legally required to do so, citing security issues, speaks for itself. Dave A

    JFK Kennedy Memorial Mosaic

Just finished watching the latest JFK documentary...The more you watch, the more you learn. Oliver Stone states that it is no longer a conspiracy theory, but a conspiracy fact. I quite agree...it looks more and more like the CIA was the culprit. Dave A

    Cowper Street

As I lived in Paddington St, I can confirm that this is the off-licence or outdoor as it was also known. We had one at both ends of the street on the same side. Dave A

    Stamp Albums.

I really don't remember buying stamps at all, just swapping. I did look with envy at stamps that were on display in shops and probably the one in Needless Alley. There was a shop in Newtown Row that had quite a few for sale and I do recall them having assortments in see through envelopes. Dave A.

Of course...I'm Dave Astley, I live in Mississauga, ON. NFLD, is my favorite place in Canada. Before Covid, I went there 5 summers in a row (drove the last time). I was also a stamp collector back in Brum, lost my collection when we moved south. Dave A
