    Hi Lyn, I remember the location very well, I used to get off the No.8 Inner Circle bus at the junction, cross over and catch a bus up Soho Hill to go to Handsworth Tech. (That was in1943/46). Also the shop on the right "Civic Radio" was one of the shops of the company I worked for in 1950/51...

    Hi , Schofield Street was off Rocky Lane, between Cromwell Street and Nechells Green. My first girlfriend lived in Schofield Street, I helped her to bury a chicken that had died which she got from the Rag and Bone Man. WEe only about 6/7 years old ! Regards Reg

    Hi Folk, I think it Could be a Shorts Stirling, which I believe did have provision for a Co Pilot, also the control levers above the pilots head which appear to be being operated by the Co Pilot look as if it could be a "Shorts" design. Regards Reg.
