    Thanks for that. Would be interesting to find out what different Lucas factories made. Batteries were made at Formans road. Starter motors.......... Dynamos..... Alternators..... Flasher units.... Wiper motors.... Distributors..... The list goes on.

    I've been in the shop bought never purchased anything. They sell Chinese motorcycles that are derived from a Honda design. The bikes are cheap and cheerful, I see a lot of these during my motorcycling ventures. The owners speak well of them i.e good value for money.
