Hi Cresser, if I go to Redditch tomorrow I will pop into the library and ask if they have a plan there. Just to be certain -you do mean the cemetery where the Crematorium is don't you?

ARTISS Edwin and Violet SHINE nee ARTISS

I am glad you solved the mystery Mike but also sorry it was such a sad result. Poor Edwin falling into a well and how horrible for the family not knowing where he was for 5 years. Thanks for letting us know - it is always nice to know the ending of a 'story' - I just wish it was a happier one.

Francis Ellen Family tree research- Im stuck :(

Re: Family tree research- Im stuck :( The birth months are when they are registered - the year is split into quarters - Jan-March / April-June /July-Sept / Oct-Dec So William could have been born beginning October 1895 and Elsie end of June 1896 (a bit premature) very close but possible.

Francis Ellen Family tree research- Im stuck :(

Re: Family tree research- Im stuck :( Well done ladylinda! I was just looking through freebmd - so I wonder where Elsie was on the 1901? James, I thought they may have been twins because Willie was down as being born 1896 and it was quite common in those days to send babies or little children...

Francis Ellen Family tree research- Im stuck :(

Re: Family tree research- Im stuck :( That is a mystery James - did she stay in Hereford all her life - or did you say there was a connection to Birmingham? If she moved to Birmingham some people on here have access to the Birmingham electoral rolls. Did she get married?
