    I wonder what would have happened to Aston hall if the council hadn't agreed to purchase it? Reading the advertisement for A.W Anderson it seems you could lend a newspaper to read - I am assuming you read it on his premises and had to pay.

    John, I have found 110 Farm Street listed as an Off License in the licence transfers in The Birmingham Daily Post Dec 1887 (transferred to G Freeman) So maybe horse and cart means that Emily Butler was a beer seller at 110 Farm Street in 1904 when Charles Young died there.

    Could it be section L Brian - there is L220 Amelia Toy 1934 and L225 Albert Frederick Toy 1935 or there are two in one grave L275 - Emma Eliza Toy 1944 and John Edward Toy 1950
