    Copper was slowing down a the age of 4 i attended all meetings as i was dating trainers daughter made a alot of money on Copper he was owned by a Greek family boy in his day he was a dead cert he got a injury in his prime at Hall Green he was a good pet RIP Copper

    I worked on the trainers kennels the vet was there putting down young unwanted dogs in front of me all the kennel maids were crying i took 2 home with me and another dog pet name Bren next time i was there the girls gave them all pet names

    I have always had retired greyhounds as pets we going to pick a couple up end of the month both only 4 years old i had 2 ex Hall Green dogs Sahara King pet name Sam and Copper Plate they ran in the 80s i gave Sam to my Mum when she became widowed Sam got her though dark times

    After thought Barracks are not a Garrison a Garrison contains multiple barracks well all the Garrisons i was at did ie Whitington barracks was my Depot up to 4 Regiments there it was a Barracks not a Garrison
