Posted before on another thread both of these lamps are wartime Brum made LMS 1944 SR 1940 They have cut no corners in manufacturing of these lamps Brass/Steel/Tin and Clear glass at a time scraping railings pots and pans etc

I find vintage railway books Ian Allen etc are the best copies in good condition available on line not silly money

The railway lamps of mine have posted on other threads had a light reducer that was fitted to the lamp i have only ever seen one and that was shed/homemade
