Reece Bros are listed at both 100 New St and 1 Bull St corner of High St in the newspapers. Grenville's Hosiery possibly at 103 Bull St.

As per Janice's post #3, John George Jester appears to be listed there on the 1921 census and 1922 ER and was possibly there on the 1911 census.

It was still Jester's for some years after that, can remember my mom saying she was going there to get something or other. Late 80s, possibly even the 90s.

If Reginald was born in 1907 then it's possible he married an Irene M Mellichap in 1927. On the 1939 Register they are both listed as married but living at different addresses. There are births registered for 4 Ravenscroft/Mellichap children.
