A couple of photographs of Tilton Road the other side of Garrison Lane (the part not shown on the aerial photograph). Tilton Road school is still there, part of it is now a mosque.
An aerial view (1934) & map of Tilton Road (1950s), unfortunately all the photographs are centred around the Whitworth Works and do not show the southern end of Tilton Road
That factory was James Cond (Printers) Lyn on Charlotte Street, company was wound up in 1989 but the building is still there.
If member Pica is still using this site I'm sure this photograph would be of great interest as their grandparents lived at #102.
Great photograph Lyn, judging by the Hillman Imp (or Singer Chamois) it would be mid 60s, the sign was most likely for Studio Press (Birmingham) Ltd. although it's shown as a club on the map,

Order of census properties: 4bk2, 3bk3, 2bk3, 1bk1, 1, 3, 5, 1bk5, 4bk5, 3bk7, 2bk7, 7, 9.
I'm not sure if this helps but on the electoral register for 1929 & 1930 Alice Rice (nee Overton) was at 15 Barton's Bank (as you know), in 1931 Alice and Charles William Bayley are at this address.
In 1921 there is a 3/7 and 2/7.
1911 seems to be called Eliza Place.
1901 Back of 7 & Back of 5...
