I've been checking all of the Bradley families, so many of them in Park Road but it's a 3 floor house so tends to rule out a lot of them on the aerial view.

Lyn this image appears on Ancestry under the Bradley/Phillips family tree. It is listed as the residence in 1911 of Daniel Joseph Bradley at 127 Park Road Hockley. I'm just looking at some aerial views of Park Road to see if this can be confirmed.

No you didn't read me wrong Lyn, I was going on this 1950s map which clearly shows the gatehouse with entry and exit (same footprint as the current buildings) and the building marked as 'Hospital'.

Looking at streetview the frontage is certainly part of the hospital but the main school isn't

It's now Eden Boys' School Lyn but I think it's a different building.

I wonder if it was rebuilt after the fire? I have found this entry on the 1896 electoral register but it could be for No. 6 built on the site after demolition of Bromford (Bromfield) House.

This could be relevant Pedro, the railway would have cut through Factory Road around the time in question, can I ask where you found the information about Foster's buildings in Park Road? It could be that the top end of Park Road used to be Factory Road.

There is no Cutler listed in Coleshill Street (Kelly's 1921), could it be mis-transcribed for Cateswell Road ?

There is a William Foster on the 1841 census so perhaps the building was named after him.

A couple of items to get the thread started. Factory Road is on the 1851 census also but does not appear to mention 'Foster's Building'.
