Thats so good for me as my parents were married there in 1937 and the photographer didnt turn up so there were no photos of the wedding, but looking at this gives me some idea of the wedding fashions of the time. Thanks Viv

It was George Barton who had the pawn shop and Reg who served there - in this picture you can see the end of the pawnshop with Bernard's doorway leading down the hall to where they lived. They also had Len the milkman in their yard
I knew Bernard and Roger very well, they lived at the back of the pawnshop. Here is a photo of Roger, me, Bernard and my brother David sitting on the window cill in our back yard.
