I agree with Sparks & Viv…..that place never did anything for me. There are building in Birmingham that are well 9ver 150 years old, so much for planning obsolescence! This city has no money to keep libraries open but they can build ugly places like that and not worry because the public is...

If it’s only a year old, I doubt the hard drive because most likely it’s solid state. I think a usb sound card is worth a try.

Yes, I think that is more than fair! Even if you could be a non paying guest for a month (or something like that) then make a modest contribution and go from there. To Marks point a £1 per month would help (or more).
