    I do not remember those days as I was only 2. I do remember the aftermath living with family 6 months at a time because my parents lost the home. We are blessed because so far this 80 years is the longest time period without such a conflict. WW1 ending to the start of WW2 was less than 20 years...

    Seems like an age thing….The insurance companies are protective of themselves. In the US 90% of rejections are approved after being resubmitted which is a load of xxxx! Off topic yes but an important one to many of us on here!

    Yes, engine sludging was a by product of R. As an aside, engine sludging was problematic on Ford car engines in the late 60’s early 70’s.
