New Street under lock down. Cafes, cinemas, bars, restaurants, gyms etc all closed down. Flowers for Mothers Day but no one will be going to restaurants tomorrow. Costa and Odeon are closed. I think some Costa's are now take away only. Odeon actually closed down by Wednesday I think...

Moseley Tunnel from Woodbridge Road. Last week West Midlands Railway had a stopping Class 170 train at Moseley, Kings Heath and Hazelwell (even though the new stations haven't been built yet).

Went the same route, got of the 11C on Addison Road. Headed up Springfield Road, Billesley Lane and Oxford Road. Until I got to School Road and found it. Then headed up to Wake Green Road and into Moseley Village via Church Road, Woodbridge Road and Alcester Road.

Got out for a Moseley walk this morning and saw it. An Edward VII vintage on School Road. In front of the gates and not far from Moseley C of E Primary School.

The Woodman is safe. Its The Eagle & Tun that will sadly be demolished. Its boarded up last time I walked past it the other week.

The John Bright statue is inside of the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. You would see it if heading up the stairs from the Chamberlain Square entrance. Was sculpted by Bruce A Joy. There is also a bronze bust of John Skirrow Wright in the Council House. It was cast by William Bloye from a...

Previously posted these on the HS2 thread. Some more views from the train last Saturday. JCB's. Piles of earth and a lot of rubble. Just before Lawley Middleway towards the current WMFS HQ. The HS2 sign from the train has moved to this side (near the Digbeth Branch Canal).

I would have crossed over that junction, and only got photos of Moseley C of E Primary School two months ago, so didn't see or look out for it.

I walked up Oxford Road recently but didn't see the post box. Only noticed the primary school. Walked up from Kings Heath from Billesley Lane. This was in January 2020.

The Thomas Woolner statue was the one at the Museum Collection Centre that I saw. Must be the rejected statue.
