    There is now a canopy at the back. I think they are turning it into a temporary outdoor cinema? View off Poplar Road. The Kingsway seen from the High Street in Kings Heath with lovely street art of dancers. Even the door has been painted on.

    It's the Blockbusters buildings next to the TETRIS building (Holiday Inn Express). They must have finished it in the last 5 months, although the lower floors haven't been cladded yet.

    Can't find any other relevant thread so will post this here. Saw this building from Trent Street on Coventry Street. Turns out it was the former Birmingham Battery and Metal Works at 38 Coventry Street in Digbeth. Established in 1836. But the engine house was built in 1838 with the chimney...

    Walked along Vyse Street in the Jewellery Quarter yesterday, and the railings have been repainted red. The stonework looks new.

    Those were the anti terror barriers installed a few years ago. To prevent someone driving into the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market. They sometimes plant flowers there to make it look nice.

    I had to keep stopping to let the cyclists past me. They sometimes rang their bell. Try to. Move closer to the grass near the fence or brick wall.

    No problem Richard. The towpath in the tunnel was widened. I last saw a canoe on the Stratford Canal on the Edstone Aqueduct a couple of months ago.
