Thank you. I think Blacks may have been demolished before my childhood memory tapes start - I can remember THTJB though - we went there most Saturday mornings.

Where exactly was Blacks please? I remember THTJB - this was on Newtown Row.

I posted a number of photos of female aircraft workers at Longbridge on the "Female War Workers" thread.

It says "Subway" on the map above so I am guessing it was for trucks rather than trains as the bend is too tight for trains - and it has buildings in it

Lovely crescent moon in the evening sky a few nights ago:- This was about 2 days after new moon, quite low in the sky so difficult to photograph. Move on to last night and things get a bit easier:-

The Museums Collections Centre in Dollman St have some very early recording machines and discs/drums etc - no idea if they work or what is on them but may be worth a try as a "starter for 10"?

HI Lyn - yes - think the first one I had posted previously. Adderley St dump was a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon when you had some film for your camera - no-one bothered that you were there in those days.........
