    I dont know about that Carolynn as a very young lad we played kick the can in a tenement square in Cambuslang Glasgow that was 50s I never played it when back in Brum ?

    my mom used to get a voucher from the s&u tallyman and as kids we were dragged along to get our clothes from there and the tallyman collected the rest of the year another one like that was Hugh Wylies

    it was a forgotten war and all who went there suffered The real problem for the Allies was the environment. Burma was criss-crossed with jungle, mountains, rivers and mangrove swamps. Moving equipment was a nightmare across such hazardous terrain and worse was the constant threat of disease...

    I and My Father worked there and we had some happy times at Ansells in the boiler house ...I also remember being on strike for an indiscretion :rolleyes:by someone from the union there:D
