    Dibb I remember the church it was really tiny ,,more like a chapel and it was on Hockley Brook by the bus stops ..it is mentioned in Smudge Smiths book a Paddle in Hockley Brook..it stood back from the road near to a pub i think the pub was called the lamp but not to sure..it had a very small...

    I too am catching up with this thread have just made a comment about our city planners knocking down some of our heritage so many of these great and useful buildings gone to waste and for what progress ??

    Frothy I like SOME modern Buildings as well:P I still think the planners get it wrong and put some buildings where the old ones should still be some planners attitude is knock it down rather than look at what is around and keep some of the original buildings which get swept away during renewal...
