    These are the only 2 traces I can find. Nothing on any census, that’s why I wondered if they lived on a boat and never included. He was 19 when they married; she was 28. They were married 13 years before son was born, yet no trace of any other children. Thank you to everyone for joining my search.

    Thank you for your reply. Yes I have William the sons birth certificate and marriage certificat, and William and Ann Maria’s marriage certificate. You are right about Green being a difficult name to trace!

    My fathers family name is Green. I recently found that his grandfather was William Green, address given as Portway, Rowley Regis. My dad lived at Rounds Green Oldbury. William married Ann Maria Round and gave his occupation as boatmen. He was born 1844 to John Green. Apart from their marriage...
