No not just Xmas tins but tins throughout my life. Some are very rusty no matter what I had done to preserve them and are no longer in the house but store Pete's nails screws etc.
Had one bought for me for my birthday and it is a bit hit and miss as to what it picks up. Patience is what you require with these. Had a couple of large rats as well as a fox and loads of birds. Good luck.
The same thing happened when Pete was fishing a contest and further up two lads decided to swim across the river. On their way back one got into serious difficulty and I ended up going in for him. Good job I had been well trained at that time.
We once had a caravan at Stourport when out twins were ten and we all loved it. Bumped into Amy Turtle off Crossroads once as she had a van on another site there. Pete used to do night fishing there and I would take him his breakfast sandwiches and a fresh flask of coffee. Happy days.
Their cakes were to die for and I am not a great cake lover. My dads cousins Julie and Ada worked for the company for some years and were always bringing the miss shapes home for us.
My Uncle Arthur Moms brother and the cups he won while he was in the Saint Johns Ambulance. I think he was a Sub Lieutenant but please correct me if this is wrong.
I can't believe I was born just down the road from here in Holte road , and someone doing my ancestry found we are members of the Holte family from Aston Hall
