Well spotted Pedro .... it appears to be a wrongly labelled photo, but it prompted an interesting thread. And Rednal is still within the scope of the Forum. Viv: there was no identifiable theme to the 5 or 6 photos on the pub wall .... except that they are all (supposed to be) in Moseley.

I noticed this photo yesterday on the wall in the back room of the Trafalgar (now Patrick Kavanagh) pub in Woodbridge Road, Moseley. Does anyone know whereabouts in Moseley this shop was located? EDIT: Location identified by Pedro as Fern Cottage in Rednal.

Another couple of James Burgoyne photos that haven't appeared on this thread yet .... showing Balloon Street before it was cleared. The attached "Birmingham Improvement Scheme" map (dated March 1879) indicates the proposed route of Corporation Street, and where Balloon Street was located.

Yes Lyn .... I didn't have access to the electoral register, but I worked out the house location from that photo on Post #9, and the position of the entry in the first photo on Post #2.
