Deary me. I had a Microsoft windows update this morning which I accepted, I'm now back to shrinking the page to get things working on here. What a palaver, seems obvious it's the updates that are causing the problem.

Everything suddenly back to normal for me, screen now set to a readable 100% with all fields clickable.

I have another part unreadable cert ( to me anyway) My grandparents marriage cert from 1931. It's whatever is written under 'Paper hanger and Decorator' for my grandfathers occupation. To add to the confusion, 'Bright Street Aston' for my grandmothers residence, I can't find a reference to it...

I still don't think you will see anything different. If I hover my mouse pointer over the notification bell icon or search it does not highlight plus clicking on them does nothing.

All I am showing is how reduced my screen has to be to have all items on the page functioning. If I increase screen size to a readable 90 or 100% then notifications, search, forum headers, post reply cannot be selected. A video of the process would be better but I don't have the wherewithal to...

I've just fired up my old laptop which is running Win10 and there are no problems. Both laptops are running Edge browser so for me it is windows 11 with the problem of zooming or removing Adblocker to make the page functional.

Yep, that's it. I'm now back to a readable 100% screen with everything working. Nice one Harry!!!

I had 'Free school meals' as did a few of my classmates. A blue/grey bus type ticket that you did your best not to lose.

Here is a screenshot of my screen at 75% you can see the text is about half the size of the text at the top of the screen which is normal size.

Glad it's helped you Lyn. I'm not completely computer savvy but it seems like the 'fields' that contain the icons are being stretched out from the screen to the point where they cannot be activated. Maybe someone with more computer knowledge can solve this problem for us. My screen is HD so...

Just to add.. I've had to reduce to 75% to get the 'post reply' button to activate.
