    This is the former Beacon Cinema at the Scott Arms in Great Barr. Spent a lot of time here and the Clifton cinema down the road in the school holidays but had a soft spot for the beacon. This picture is the workmen finishing off the building before opening

    The funniest part of that fools and horses was when Rodney brings the police woman back to the flat, grandad is panicking by this point and says "Rodney's got a police record" and Del looks round and says "yes, walking on the moon" :):) classic

    I love my British comedy and have virtually every box set made, but the two I just couldn't get into no matter how much I tried was last of the summer wine and fawlty towers, don't know why, it just didn't happen.

    at the moment I'm binge watching seventies and eighties top of the pops on BBC iplayer and thinking OMG, where have the years gone!!!
