Thats the trouble with the Beacon GG, dog crap, you cant sit on the grass without finding it on your clothes, tend to stick to the path now, there should be a dog warden up there to fine a few offending owners then perhaps it would stop.

The beacon is on the horizon when i look out of my bedroom window although it's 5.5miles away as the crow flies.

I remember when the can came off the wire and landed on top of the local toffs garage, it was too high to climb onto so we had to throw canfulls of water onto it from the deep puddles that were on the bombsite, the toff came out and chased us, needless to say, when he told my dad what had...

I have this receipt for a 1889 season ticket for West Bromwich Albion, the price was 10/6, or fifty two and a half new pence. I found this in the debris of an insurance office when it was being demolished in the late 60s, i have had this clarified by letter from the Baggies historian, Tony Matthews.
