    Here's another photo I have found of my mom, it is with her dad Charles Birbeck who was born 1898. Mom was born in 1924. There is another of her in her snazzy swimming costume!

    I've just googled St. Martins Worcester and it seems that this was a catholic church. Does anyone know if there is another St. Martins? I think this family was based Kings Norton way - does that come under Worcester?

    Mrs Wybrant - how could I forget her. Her daughter attended the same school as my cousin - can't remember - yes I can - Astwell. It was a private school (I think) on Hamstead Road, Handsworth. I don't recall a Mrs. Rose but it was an awful long time ago now!!

    You must have been there after the school split into the two buildings with the Junior children moving to the new school on Nursery Road.
