    I have received a burial record for a burial that took place in 1903 at Witton Cemetery. There are 3 columns in the register - "Special", "Consecrated" and "Unconsecrated". Would anyone know what the "Special" column refers to. William.

    To be fair I do not think you can blame Ancestry for some of the errors on trees on their site. A "hint" is just a hint and not a "fact" - and the onus therefore surely has to be down to members who accept "hints" without verifying such information. William.

    I have an e mail from www.warwickfusiliers.co.uk - David Baynham - Museum Assistant which states during the time period my ancestor served in the RWR the 1st Battalion was based at home and confirmed the 2nd Battalion served in India until 1891 then moved to Ceylon. William.
